Kelly's from a broken home,
Her mom drinks the sadness away,
Always wondering what her life would be,
If her daddy had just stayed,
She wants more than anything,
To feel some sort of love,
She doesn't know all she needs is some prayer,
And a little bit of trust,
She looks around her and sees,
Life's not always what it's like in the movies,
She struggles with hope everyday,
Nobody had told her there's a better way,
That God wants to cure her pain,
Tommy lives to make it through each day,
He's given up everything to survive,
He may never know the truth,
That somone died for his life,
He looks around him and sees,
Another temporary home on another street,
Struggling with hope everyday,
Somone has to tell him he can be saved,
God wants to cure his pain,
Many people go through their life,
Without ever knowing his sacrifice,
By speaking the truth we could make things right,
We could save a broken person tonight,
This war is our battle, our only fight,
Keep pressing on and don't ever lose sight,
It's up to us to make things right
