She sit's all alone thinking to herself,
Trying to figure out when exactly she let go,
There was a time when her defenses were strong,
But if you looked at her now you would never know,
She's broken down and cornered,
Trying to escape these unreturned feelings,
She's run out of things to turn to,
All that once made her happy he's stealing
What can you do for your heart when it's breaking right in front of you,
What happens when you realize the one you love doesn't love you?
She's losing her will to continue the fight,
She's unsure if it's worth it in the end,
How can she expect to win her happiness,
When she sees her enemy in every friend,
Emotions drain what's left of her,
And the breaking point is drawing near,
Tears fall over her once beautiful smile,
That was ruined by man's greatest fear,
What can you do for your heart when it's breaking right in front of you,
What happens when you realize that the one you love doesn't love you?
She sit's alone thinking to herself,
Wondering why she ever let go,
There was once a time when she had hope,
But if you looked at her now you would never know
